Celebrating our volunteers this spring at JFCS

By Dana Shapiro • Community and Volunteer Engagement Manager

Spring is in the air – and so is our gratitude!

As the days grow warmer and everything begins to bloom, we’re reminded that spring is a season of renewal – and a perfect time to say thank you. During Global Volunteer Month and National Volunteer Week, we celebrate the heart and impact of our volunteers.

Whether you’ve just returned from winter away (welcome back to our snowbirds!) or have been involved all year, your generosity continues to inspire us. Thank you for being part of the JFCS community! We couldn’t do our work without your support!

National Volunteer Week: April 20–26

This year’s National Volunteer Week theme is Celebrate Service, and here at JFCS, we truly have so much to celebrate. We are lucky to have such wonderful volunteers of all ages who support many JFCS programs through both short-term and long-term opportunities. We know your time and energy are valuable, and we never take for granted that you choose to share your talents and compassion with us. I truly believe JFCS has the best volunteers! In 2024, 915 JFCS volunteers supported our programs – we are so grateful for your dedication!
