Please join us for this virtual class. Class will meet on Zoom.
When: Wednesday March 15th from 12-1:30pm. Class will continue to meet each Wednesday at noon, with the last class on April 19th.
What to Expect: The class is designed to provide you with a wealth of self-care tools that will help you take care of yourself while taking care of child who has a chronic physical, mental health condition or a disability. Self-care is a necessary component to the well-being of each person, especially someone experiencing the demands of caregiving for a loved one.
You will learn to reduce stress, improve your self-confidence, bring more balance to your life, better communicate your feelings, and increase your ability to make tough decisions. You will also have the chance to connect with other parents who are going through a similar experience.
Cost: $25, which covers the cost of the book (required for the class)
A limited amount of financial support is available; please reach out to us about receiving a donated book.
The class is facilitated by Stacey Spencer, DSP & Disability Services Manager, and Leah Persky, PhD & Certified Family Life Educator
