Seeking mentor (MUST love sports!)

Meet Miles – a 7-year-old participant in the Jewish Youth Mentoring Program, who is waiting for his perfect mentoring match. Maybe it could be you! Miles lives in Woodbury with his mom, older brother, and twin sister. He is in second grade at Heilicher Minneapolis Jewish Day School and his family attends Mt. Zion Temple.

Miles is interested in all sports, but his greatest passion is for soccer. His favorite teams are Minnesota United and Manchester City F.C., an English team. Adults who know Miles describe him as smart, athletic, energetic, intellectually curious, empathetic, polite, and “a wealth of information, very sharp.” He does well in school and engages easily with adults, asking lots of great questions and sharing interesting information. Miles aspires to be a professional soccer player when he grows up, but in the meantime, he’d like to learn how to do division and play baseball. He would enjoy spending time with a mentor who is active and energetic, and enjoys activities like attending sporting events, practicing golf, or playing board games.
