Women Connect: Building community, forming connections

Women in their 40s through 60s are finding new ways to connect, build friendships, and learn together through a new kind of programming at JFCS. Every six to eight weeks, JFCS is hosting gatherings designed specifically for women in this life stage, offering meaningful programming, engaging learning experiences, and opportunities to share time in a warm and welcoming environment.
These in-person gatherings are a chance for women to come together, form connections, and support one another during a stage of life where building new friendships can feel challenging.
In addition to in-person programs, participants are encouraged to continue building community online through the Women Connect Facebook group. This space offers members an opportunity to share activities, arrange meetups, and create affinity groups around shared interests – whether that’s starting a book club, finding a tennis partner, playing mahjong, or simply getting together for coffee.
Women interested in joining are encouraged to attend the upcoming JFCS programs and to join the Women Connect Facebook group to start connecting today. If you are interested in being part of this movement, have an idea or a skill that you want to share, or would like to be on the mailing list, please reach out to Dgelfman@jfcsmpls.org and join our Facebook group, Women Connect.
