CARF International Accreditation 

Since 1984, JFCS has held the highest level (3-year) of accreditation from CARF International, which requires adherence to high standards of business operations and best practices including agency-wide standards for accessibility, leadership, human resources, finance and safety.   Claims Conference 

Social services for Nazi victims have been supported by a grant from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, including funds from the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Holocaust Survivor Emergency Assistance Fund, for the benefit of Jewish Holocaust survivors in need. Also funded by the German Finance Ministry.

Commissioner’s Circle of Excellence Award

JFCS is one of six recipients awarded the 2018 Commissioner’s Circle of Excellence Award though the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). JFCS received this award in recognition of our work providing services and education to people living with Alzheimer’s disease and their care partners. This award recognizes excellence among human services providers, counties, tribes, advocacy groups and other organizations that work in partnership with the DHS to help people meet their basic needs so they can live in dignity and achieve their highest potential.
