What: This is a virtual 6-session group open to parents of school-aged (aged 5-18) children.
Goal: To provide practical skills and tips and to provide support while on the parenting journey; and to connect with others having similar experiences.
When: Tuesdays, April 22nd – May 27th from 11:30AM – 12:45PM
Cost: $150, self-pay. Please reach out to discuss financial assistance.
Prerequisites: There will be a screening process.

The Parenting Support Group is a 6-week group that will provide parents of school-aged children (ages 5-18) with support, coaching, and practical tools to support their children and themselves. If you are looking to explore ways to support your children through decision-making processes, transitions, managing their emotions, managing screens and schoolwork, and navigating relationships; then this is the right fit for you. The series will be led by parent educators and therapists from JFCS in a supportive environment. Selected topics covered will be informed by the needs of parents/guardians identified during the intake process. Each session will include education, time for sharing and connection, and exploring strategies and resources to navigate common challenges parents face.
